Unlocking protein potential to enable a future where food production protects our climate and oceans

To support aquaculture's drive for sustainability and resilience, we're creating protein from CO2 emissions and pioneering sustainable high-performance protein ingredients for aquaculture feed.

Over 90% of wild fisheries are at or beyond our environment's limits and the demand is growing for nutritionally-rich sustainable protein. Aquaculture has become an essential source of protein, but wild-catch fish-meal is still a key ingredient in aquaculture feed and it's under significant pressure from over fishing and climate change impacts.

A protein for the future

Jooules’ protein ingredient can deliver a sustainable, resilient, and high-performance protein source for aquaculture feed – one that doesn't rely on wild-catch fishes or other finite planetary resources for its production.

Our protein

Protecting our climate and oceans for future generations

By capturing carbon dioxide, utilising renewable energy, and reducing resource intensity, we have one of the very few protein production systems that are truly able to mitigate the effects of climate change and ocean ecosystem degradation.

Our impact

Where innovation meets nutrition

By harnessing the power of ancient microbes and using innovative techniques in gaseous fermentation, we can produce high-performance protein ingredients from CO2, thereby, significantly reducing CO2 emissions, protecting our environment, and providing essential nutrition.
